Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate testing cycles
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity ratings and actionable feedback
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical issues and recommend preventive measures
- Maintain test environments and ensure data integrity across testing phases
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote continuous improvement in QA processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and CI/CD integration
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Git
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar QA methodologies preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across teams
