Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents and drive resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define clear acceptance criteria.
- Execute manual and exploratory testing for complex new feature rollouts.
- Establish and enforce CI/CD pipelines to integrate quality checks early in the lifecycle.
- Mentor junior QA staff and conduct thorough code reviews for test scripts.
- Manage end-to-end defect tracking and reporting in Jira.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL).
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and Docker/Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
