Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to embed quality gates within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Execute complex integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure system scalability.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Mentor junior QA staff and conduct thorough code reviews for test automation scripts.
- Develop and execute test plans for new feature rollouts in an Agile development environment.
- Analyze production logs to identify root causes of intermittent performance issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency with modern testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and microservices architecture.
- Deep experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-inspired environment.
