Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks from scratch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define comprehensive test strategies.
- Execute complex integration, regression, and end-to-end performance testing cycles.
- Identify, document, and track software defects while partnering with developers to resolve root-cause issues.
- Lead and mentor junior QA team members on best practices in testing and quality engineering.
- Champion CI/CD integration and advocate for 'Quality First' methodologies throughout the SDLC.
- Monitor production metrics to identify patterns and proactively optimize system stability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or a related engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
- Extensive experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to both stakeholders and engineers.
