Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Appium.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with developers and product managers to refine acceptance criteria.
- Implement and oversee CI/CD pipeline integrations for continuous testing efficiency.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production defects to prevent recurrence.
- Mentor junior QA staff and advocate for best practices in test-driven development.
- Execute performance and load testing to ensure high system availability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, plans, and results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture testing.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira workflows.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on defect prevention strategies.
