Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright frameworks
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab for continuous testing
- Drive quality metrics using JIRA, TestRail, and defect analysis tools
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion best practices across teams
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and prevent recurrence
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA engineering with 2+ years in test automation leadership
- Expertise in Java/Python and experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Proven track record with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and load testing (JMeter)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and release cycles
- Strong analytical skills for complex troubleshooting and documentation
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
