Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
- Execute manual and automated testing across multiple platforms, identifying and documenting defects with precision
- Lead quality assurance initiatives for CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of QA processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
- Perform exploratory testing and root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, including test scripts and execution reports
- Champion quality improvements through regular process audits and feedback sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration practices
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams
