Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead QA initiatives across the SDLC, including requirement analysis, test environment setup, and defect lifecycle management
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit)
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX designers to define quality metrics and drive quality-first culture
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures
- Maintain and enhance QA documentation, test data management systems, and quality dashboards
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS environments
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Proven experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Experience leading QA teams and implementing quality management systems
- Knowledge of security testing principles and vulnerability assessment tools
