Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and custom frameworks
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous quality monitoring
- Document defects with precise technical details in JIRA and track resolution metrics
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and drive preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices across departments
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality acceptance criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC roles with SaaS or fintech products
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)
- Proficiency in SQL and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA workflows
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced preferred
- Proven track record of improving product quality metrics
