Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress to enhance test coverage and CI/CD integration
- Implement defect management processes in JIRA while maintaining 99% defect closure SLAs
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and drive preventive actions
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality culture across 15+ product teams
- Optimize test environments and infrastructure for 30% faster execution cycles
- Validate API endpoints, databases, and microservices using Postman/SoapUI
Qualifications
- 8+ years in QA with 3+ years in senior/lead roles
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for web automation
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Certification in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent
- Experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (OWASP)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
