Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end testing strategies including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit to accelerate testing cycles
- Document test plans, test cases, and defect reports with precision and clarity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks and implement preventive measures
- Champion CI/CD pipeline integration and quality gate implementation
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and drive quality improvements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality-first culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with proven track record in automation
- Expertise in testing methodologies (manual, automated, performance, security)
- Strong programming skills in Python/Java and experience with test frameworks
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and defect management systems
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent preferred
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, fintech) a plus
