Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Appium
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define quality gates and release criteria
- Conduct exploratory testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for complex web and mobile applications
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution in AWS/GCP environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional QA experience with SaaS products
- Expertise in automated testing tools and programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP protocols
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Familiarity with agile development processes and test-driven development (TDD)
- Certification in QA methodologies (ISTQB, CSTE) preferred
- Proven track record of reducing production defects by 40%+
