Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing for fintech applications
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium/Cypress and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Execute exploratory testing to identify edge cases and user experience flaws
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, including test plans and execution reports
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and tooling
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct quality-focused code reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with 2+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) and test management systems
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter)
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) or equivalent quality assurance certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
