Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles
- Execute exploratory testing to identify edge cases and user experience bottlenecks
- Document defects in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps and severity analysis
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC with 3+ years in test automation
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Proficiency in SQL, REST API testing, and performance monitoring tools
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect lifecycle management
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
