You'll work alongside product developers, UX designers, and data scientists to build testing frameworks that prevent defects before they reach production.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium/Cypress
- Lead cross-functional test planning sessions for complex fintech applications
- Execute performance and security testing using JMeter and OWASP ZAP
- Analyze test results and drive defect resolution through JIRA
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous testing practices
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate CI/CD pipelines with QA processes
- Develop comprehensive test documentation and quality metrics dashboards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with emphasis on test automation
- Expertise in API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance credentials
- Experience with fintech or financial services industry compliance (PCI DSS, GDPR)
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
