Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for web and mobile applications
- Lead defect lifecycle management using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing with Selenium, Cypress, and Appium
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality metrics and continuous improvement strategies
- Conduct performance, security, and usability testing to ensure product excellence
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion best practices across the organization
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to enhance product quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with 2+ years in test automation
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong proficiency in SQL, REST API testing, and performance testing tools
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
