Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead QA initiatives for cloud-native microservices architecture using AWS and Docker
- Execute exploratory testing and root-cause analysis for complex system behaviors
- Integrate QA processes with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with 2+ years in test automation
- Expertise in programming languages (Python/Java/JavaScript) and testing frameworks
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA metrics
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance credentials
- Proven experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing
- Experience with defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
