Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing for cloud-native applications
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium/Cypress and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Document defects in JIRA with clear severity ratings and track resolution metrics
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS environments with proven test automation expertise
- Proficiency in Java/Python and testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with banking/financial systems compliance standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
