Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end testing strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
- Execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Analyze defects using JIRA and collaborate with developers for timely resolution
- Document test procedures, results, and quality metrics using TestRail or equivalent
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote continuous improvement in QA processes
- Participate in agile ceremonies and provide quality-focused insights during sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with 2+ years in automation testing
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
