Responsibilities
- Design and maintain comprehensive end-to-end automated test suites using Selenium/Playwright.
- Collaborate with product owners to define clear, concise acceptance criteria for new features.
- Conduct deep-dive manual exploratory testing for complex edge cases and user workflows.
- Lead the migration of legacy test processes to a modern, cloud-based CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor production performance metrics and proactively identify potential system bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior QA staff and advocate for software testing best practices across the engineering department.
- Perform detailed root-cause analysis on production incidents to prevent regression.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance for high-traffic web applications.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript or Python for test automation scripting.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API testing tools such as Postman or Rest-Assured.
- Solid experience with modern CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proven expertise in SQL and database validation techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on collaborative problem-solving.
