Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define testable user stories.
- Execute complex integration, regression, and performance testing cycles.
- Identify, document, and track software defects within Jira to resolution.
- Lead QA process improvements to increase test coverage and deployment speed.
- Perform root cause analysis on production issues to prevent future regressions.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and modern testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
- Proven expertise in building automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an Agile team environment.
