Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for web/mobile fintech applications
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright frameworks
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for continuous testing
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical defects using JIRA and defect tracking systems
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Collaborate with Product/Dev teams to define acceptance criteria and test coverage
- Champion quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA engineering with 3+ years in fintech or high-complexity domains
- Expert proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Deep experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and performance testing tools (JMeter/K6)
- Certified in ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent
- Proven track record of leading QA initiatives in agile/scrum environments
- Familiarity with security testing (OWASP, penetration testing) and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in defect prevention strategies
