Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain comprehensive automated testing frameworks from scratch.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define clear, concise, and actionable acceptance criteria.
- Execute complex end-to-end testing scenarios to identify potential system bottlenecks.
- Lead and mentor junior QA engineers in best practices for performance and regression testing.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production defects to drive continuous improvement.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid, high-quality releases.
- Maintain exhaustive documentation of test plans, cases, and environment configurations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, or TypeScript).
- Proven track record of building scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- In-depth knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Deep familiarity with agile software development life cycles and collaborative team tools like JIRA.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
