Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright while reducing manual testing by 40%
- Execute exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues in complex financial applications
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Document test cases, defects, and quality reports using JIRA and TestRail
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement in QA processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA with 2+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Pytest) and CI/CD integration
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database testing and API validation tools (Postman/RestAssured)
- Certified in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent QA methodology
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect lifecycle management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
