Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks to accelerate testing cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity-priority classification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Implement continuous testing strategies within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and drive preventive action
- Maintain and improve test documentation, metrics dashboards, and quality reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA with proven expertise in manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC methodologies and agile development practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with SQL for database validation and test data management
- Certifications (ISTQB, CSTE) or equivalent technical degree preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Experience in test environment setup and configuration management
