Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD integration to accelerate release cycles
- Execute manual and automated testing across web/mobile applications in complex fintech environments
- Document defects in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps and severity analysis
- Collaborate with product/development teams to prioritize testing efforts based on risk assessment
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality engineering
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in software development lifecycle with emphasis on fintech or SaaS products
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- ISTQB Advanced Level certification or equivalent quality engineering credentials
- Proven track record of improving defect detection rates by 40%+ in complex systems
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
