Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for web and mobile applications
- Lead defect identification, tracking, and resolution in JIRA while maintaining rigorous quality standards
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across diverse platforms
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing frameworks
- Document testing processes, results, and quality metrics for continuous improvement
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with proven track record in software testing
- Expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) and programming languages (Python/Java)
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, bug tracking systems, and agile/scrum workflows
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and mobile testing frameworks
- Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level certification preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to prioritize complex tasks
