Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement root cause analysis methodologies
- Champion continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) quality gate implementation
- Conduct exploratory testing sessions and document detailed test cases in TestRail
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for team excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in web/mobile testing tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of agile/scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into actionable test scenarios
