Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead defect lifecycle management in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Conduct API and integration testing using Postman and SoapUI for microservices architecture
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and test coverage
- Perform security and penetration testing using OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years QA experience
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development principles
- Proficiency in database testing (SQL) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level certification preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with bug tracking experience
