Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for web, mobile, and API applications
- Implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and prioritize critical issues
- Conduct performance, security, and usability testing across diverse environments
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and drive process optimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement continuous integration pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with emphasis on automation
- Expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) testing
