Responsibilities
- Design and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium and Playwright.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria for new features.
- Lead QA initiatives, including the transition to a robust CI/CD pipeline.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases in complex user journeys.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices for test documentation and bug reporting.
- Advocate for quality-first engineering culture across the entire development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or SDET roles.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Strong experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST-Assured.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira ecosystem.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and actionable bug reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
