In this role, you will play a critical part in architecting our test automation frameworks and ensuring the seamless delivery of our enterprise-level SaaS platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define testing strategies that guarantee reliability, scalability, and security for our global user base.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using industry-standard tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Lead the transition from manual regression testing to a fully integrated CI/CD testing pipeline.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents and drive cross-team process improvements.
- Collaborate with developers during the feature design phase to define comprehensive test plans and edge-case scenarios.
- Perform security and performance load testing to ensure high availability under heavy traffic.
- Mentor junior QA members and foster a culture of quality-first software development.
- Participate in architectural reviews to identify potential bottlenecks early in the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years dedicated to automation.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues within microservices-based architectures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
