Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using industry-standard frameworks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and developers to define clear, concise test plans.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using Jira.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration quality.
- Conduct thorough exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in software testing and quality assurance methodology.
- Participate in architectural reviews to ensure testability is baked into the design phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with automation tools including Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database testing methodologies.
- Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
