Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define clear, actionable acceptance criteria.
- Lead root-cause analysis sessions to resolve recurring production defects.
- Perform rigorous manual testing when necessary to ensure edge-case coverage.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in test-driven development (TDD).
- Contribute to the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline stability.
- Participate in architectural reviews to advocate for 'testability by design'.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Development in Test (SDET).
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Deep expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Proven track record of managing QA cycles for complex, high-traffic distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and RESTful services.
- Experience working within cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
