Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring clear documentation and resolution tracking
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive measures
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Mentor QA team members on advanced testing methodologies and tools
- Drive continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and testing infrastructure
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong proficiency in API testing (Postman, REST-assured) and database validation (SQL)
- Certification in ISTQB or similar QA methodology preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Proven track record implementing quality gates in agile environments
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
