Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans and execute manual/automated testing for web/mobile applications
- Lead regression testing cycles and report defects using JIRA with clear severity metrics
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing (Selenium, Cypress) for continuous validation
- Conduct performance/load testing with tools like JMeter/Gatling for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices across 15+ cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with Product/Dev to define acceptance criteria and test coverage requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA engineering with 2+ years in fintech or high-compliance industries
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright) and scripting (Python/Java)
- Strong experience with API testing (Postman, REST-assured) and database validation
- Certified in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology (Agile, Scrum, TDD)
- Proven track record of reducing production defects by 40%+ through strategic testing
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
