Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for complex microservices architectures.
- Automate end-to-end testing processes using industry-standard frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production incidents and drive resolution.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Advocate for quality-first development practices across the entire engineering organization.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct thorough code reviews for test scripts.
- Manage defect lifecycles and provide actionable metrics to leadership regarding software quality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of building scalable testing frameworks from scratch.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and related testing tooling.
- Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira/Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
