Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress.
- Execute complex end-to-end testing scenarios to validate mission-critical business logic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to identify potential risks and defects early in the SDLC.
- Mentor junior QA staff and promote best practices in quality engineering and code reviews.
- Lead root cause analysis sessions to resolve recurring production issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, test cases, and quality metrics.
- Participate in sprint planning and design reviews to advocate for testability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or SDET roles.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical stakeholders.
