Nexus Innovations is seeking a visionary Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to champion quality within our high-scale, cloud-native software ecosystem. In this role, you will define the testing strategy, build robust automation frameworks, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
You will work directly with cross-functional product and engineering teams to ensure our platform delivers a seamless, bug-free experience to millions of global users.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable automated test suites using Cypress and Playwright.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production defects and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate shift-left testing practices within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing for complex edge cases and new feature prototypes.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to code reviews and architectural design discussions.
- Develop and track key performance metrics to report on software quality and release readiness.
- Ensure compliance with security and performance standards across all product modules.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API testing and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advocate for quality at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
