Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate testing cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects through JIRA while collaborating with engineering teams for root cause analysis
- Conduct risk assessments and prioritize testing efforts based on business impact and technical complexity
- Mentor QA team members and champion quality engineering best practices across the organization
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and drive continuous process improvements
- Validate compliance with security standards (OWASP) and accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/testing with 3+ years in automation-focused roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test management platforms (JIRA, TestRail)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and QA processes in SaaS environments
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into executable test cases
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar QA frameworks preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
