Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium and Cypress to accelerate release cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document defects in JIRA
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement in QA processes
- Maintain and expand test coverage for complex web and mobile applications
- Lead QA initiatives for new feature releases and major product updates
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality-first culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in SaaS or web applications
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong proficiency in SQL and REST API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management systems
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) or equivalent quality assurance certification preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) a plus
