Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Execute manual and automated tests across web, mobile, and API platforms
- Document defects with detailed reproduction steps and severity levels in JIRA
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and drive quality improvements
- Partner with developers to implement robust CI/CD pipelines with quality gates
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality assurance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA roles with 2+ years in leadership or senior positions
- Expert proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
