Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate testing workflows using industry-leading tools like Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and define quality metrics
- Lead defect lifecycle management using JIRA and implement continuous integration pipelines
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical bugs and drive preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices
- Stay current with emerging QA methodologies and technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with emphasis on test automation
- Expertise in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and scrum frameworks
- Strong understanding of database testing and SQL proficiency
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance training
- Experience testing cloud-based SaaS applications and microservices architecture
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
