Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, and edge-case testing.
- Lead the automation strategy using modern frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to reduce manual testing overhead.
- Identify, document, and track bugs in JIRA, providing clear reproduction steps and prioritization.
- Integrate testing pipelines into CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to facilitate continuous delivery.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and stability during peak traffic.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews for test scripts to maintain high code quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Automation and SDET practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Strong experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database querying (SQL).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems (Git).
- Experience with cross-browser testing and mobile device testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
