Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate testing cycles
- Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and defect reports
- Partner with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in quality processes
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and user experience issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Proficiency in SQL and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
