Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium/Cypress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define clear acceptance criteria.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on production issues to prevent future regressions.
- Perform manual exploratory testing to identify edge cases in complex user workflows.
- Mentor junior QA staff and lead initiatives to improve existing QA infrastructure and processes.
- Manage the execution of regression suites within a highly integrated CI/CD environment.
- Report and track bugs through the full lifecycle using Jira, ensuring detailed documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance for large-scale web applications.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or Java).
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management for verifying data integrity.
- Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advocate for user experience and product quality.
