Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, document, and track defects with JIRA while driving root cause analysis
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality engineering
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide actionable feedback
- Stay current with industry QA trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience without degree)
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL
- Proven track record in Agile/Scrum environments
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar QA methodologies preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
