Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, and security requirements for cloud-based applications
- Implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate regression cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring clear documentation and resolution tracking
- Conduct exploratory testing and user scenario validation to uncover edge cases
- Champion CI/CD pipeline integration with automated quality gates
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality benchmarks
- Analyze test metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in QA/testing
- Expertise in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Proven experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Strong understanding of API testing (REST, GraphQL) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology preferred
