Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate test suites using industry-standard frameworks like Selenium and Cypress
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and drive continuous improvement of QA workflows
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical bugs and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA team members and establish best practices for testing methodologies
- Stay current with emerging QA technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with 2+ years in fintech or SaaS
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong proficiency in API testing using Postman and RESTful services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
