Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing for cloud-native applications
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate testing cycles and maintain regression suites
- Implement continuous integration pipelines with Jenkins/GitLab CI for automated test execution
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide actionable insights to engineering teams
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices across departments
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria
- Generate quality metrics dashboards using JIRA and Confluence to drive data-driven decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (5+ years QA/development)
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) with 3+ years hands-on experience
- Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, k6)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Certification in ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent preferred
- Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking systems
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test cases
- Knowledge of security testing principles (OWASP Top 10) and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
